Nollywood filmmaker arrested for scam in Lagos.

Just few days to his appearance before Magistrate A. J. Atunwa at Roseline Omotosho Court House in Ikeja, GRA, for alleged theft of nine iPhone sets, Nollywood filmmaker, Seun Egbegbe, who had a celebrated romance with popular actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has been arrested for a case of fraud at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos. The reports, supported by a video clip, which has since gone viral on social media, claims that the filmmaker, disguised as a doctor, attempted to defraud a Bureau de Change operator of hard currency of an amount above N6 million. Man slaps Taxi driver to coma over buhari's death rumour.

A 41-year-old man identified as Usman Bukar, who claims to hail from Kano State, has allegedly slapped a taxi driver to Coma at the Temple Clinic Junction Asaba, Delta State. Bukar reportedly slapped the driver after he openly jubilated over an online news report purporting that President Buhari had died. Eyewitnesses said Bukar was visibly angry when the taxi driver (name withheld) brought a passenger to a newspaper stand around the Temple Clinic, where the incident occurred, when “free readers” including Newspapers’ buyers were struggling to catch a glimpse of the News stories published in the various daily newspapers. It was gathered that the taxi driver, among others joined in the rumour of the President’s death and allegedly said inciting statements against the President.
